In a concerted effort to combat climate change and meet the ambitious targets set forth in the Climate Action Plan, the Irish government unveils its National Retrofit Plan. This comprehensive strategy outlines a transformative approach to upgrading homes across the nation, reducing carbon emissions, and fostering a sustainable future.

The National Retrofit Plan sets out how the Government will deliver on the Climate Action Plan targets of retrofitting the equivalent of 500,000 homes to a BER of B2/cost-optimal and installing 400,000 heat pumps in existing homes to replace older, less efficient heating systems by the end of 2030.
